What happens to my photo
Short version: we take the paper away, keep the ink, and delete the photo after seven days.
What we keep, and for how long

What we never do
- We never use your photo or handwriting to train anything.
- We never share it, sell it, or show it to anyone else.
- We never publish an example without asking the family first, in writing.
What we refuse
We do not process signatures, identity documents, bank papers, or the handwriting of public figures. Please do not upload them; an order that contains one is cancelled and refunded in full.
Who else sees what
Only what is needed to make and deliver your order: Printful prints and ships it (the cleaned handwriting and your address), Stripe handles the payment (we never see your card), and our pages run on Cloudflare and on our own server in Germany. Etsy orders are handled by Etsy under their own privacy terms.
Delete it now
Email hello@theirhand.com with your order number and everything is gone the same day. You never have to explain why.
